Muslim Community Organization of South Jersey was established in 1994. Our objectives are:
1) Providing a community-wide forum and structure where Muslims may practice their religion, Islam, according to the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, as understood and practiced by the First Three Generations of Muslims (As-Salaf us-Saliheen).
2) Advancing the well-being of the Muslim community through Islamic, social and economic means as well as other appropriate resources. Additionally, protecting the Islamic values and morals throughout and within the community at large.
3) Seeking, maintaining and strengthening ties and cooperation between MCOSJ and other Muslim communities, as well as establishing programs, and developing a greater understanding of Islam, for the surrounding Non-Muslim communities.
